Already onto the 12th of January 2016 everyone says it’s their year and rightfully it is but have you set your personal goals for the year?
What are you going to do in the new year to make it your year without feeling the need to announce your goals seeking approval? Do you actually know what you want to do this year to make sure you’re better than the last?
Let us take a minute, five minutes or even an hour to simply breathe. Time is moving quickly around us we forget to take a second to breath and spending time alone starts to become quite rare with exam season or work even.
Find yourself alone, by alone I don’t mean with your phone scrolling through social media but in a room by yourself getting to know yourself again. The ultimate question should always be: Am I happy? Happiness is always key.
What I would suggest is each morning before you start your day spend 15 minutes to yourself to figure what you want to achieve and improve on during the day. For no reason other than taking your time to know yourself is more beneficial than spending time on people who probably don’t care. Setting yourself daily goals will give you something to look forward to rather than waiting for opportunities to be thrown your way.
Let’s learn to relax and put yourself first daily.
